Larry Bailey
Resident of San Jose
Larry was born Jan 29th, 1947 in Kankakee, Illinois to parents James and Leatta. His family eventually moved to California and he later graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. He went on the teach Art and PE for many years and was an award winning Art Director. When he retired, Larry loved spending time traveling, golfing, and watching his grandchildren grow.
He is survived by his mother Leatta Aguiar, longtime partner JoAnn, daughter Diana Wilson, son Brett, sister Kathie Melrose, and grandchildren Bailey, Blake, and Carmen. He was preceded in death by his father James, and also by his brother James.
A celebration of life will be held in the Sedona room at the Santa Clara Marriott this Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 1pm.

Probably the best catcher I ever threw to, 1 year in Pony League, a summer league in 1964, and finally on the Westmont Varsity baseball team in 1965. He was totally dialed into each pitcher's pitch preferences, strengths, etc., etc.

And, a great guy as well.
