In Memory

Naomi E. Keely

Naomi Eileen Cochran left us June 26, 2005 to reunite with her husband Kenny, parents Monty Ree and Buck Keely, sister Oleta and brother Ron. She will be missed by all her friends and family. Her daughters Naomi McMillan and Maggie Dempewolf, Naomi's children Diamond and Zachery, and Maggie's children Braden, Alex Dawn and Isabeau, brothers Alvin Keely and Monty Keely. Eileen was baptized in San Jose, CA and rededicated in OKC in the Church of Christ. When we were kids Eileen (Stinky), Oleta (Tubby) and Monty (Butch) were referred to as the three monsters. We rode all over OKC on horseback with our mentor Donna Wilson Keely alias (Door Knob). Eileen recently performed with the Okla. Actors Guild in plays. She was a talented singer and a great kidder. She was recently accepted into the Master Gardeners Club. She loved to fish, deer hunt, camp, sing and dance. Most of all she loved people and their laughter. She was a female Will Rogers. She never met a person she did not like. She was visiting in Paris and the family lost track of her. She was found talking to a French couple who barely understood her, but they were all having a good time. Eileen and Kenny worked the OKC State Fair for 25 yrs, because they loved meeting people and renewing old friendships. Don't grieve for Eileen. She is having a ball in heaven. She is looking down knowing all the joys and memories she brought to others will sustain us until we meet again. Eileen we love you and we will miss you. God Bless you. Your loving brother, Butch. Services are Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at Bill Merritt on 39th Expressway. 789-5622.
