I knew Carl in elementary and junior high. He lived in my neighborhood down the street in Mellowood off Prospect Road. We also participated in many San Jose YMCA activities during those years. Carl was a good friend and I lost track of him completely. I remember that he had high energy and we played flag football together in junior high. For those that knew him, he lived near Ann Russell, Mike Segerstrom, Sue Erickson, Cliff Reuter, and Barry Turkus among others.
